During my tenure at TS Media, despite my role being in the Production Team, my concern for effective media business management led me to develop the innovative Production Management System.
Initiated to streamline shooting schedules, studio usage, equipment deployment, and workforce scheduling for roles like camera persons, editors, producers, and creatives, this management system extends its capabilities to include scheduling YouTube video publication and generating comprehensive reports on views, likes, and subscribers.
As demands grew, the Production Management System expanded to cater to the needs of the Social Media Division, overseeing creative plans, content pillars, and publication schedules across various social media platforms. Integration with the design team and production team ensures seamless collaboration.
Ultimately, every division benefits from this integrated system, including Business Development, Community, General Affairs, Legal, Talent Coordination, and HR.
The system I created also accommodates HRIS needs, allowing employees to request leave, health reimbursements, and enabling the monitoring of each employee’s man-hours.
Does this system turn the company into a micro-manager? No, it’s designed to simplify reporting for each employee, facilitating performance appraisals every six months. Additionally, with man-hour calculations, management can automatically assess OPEX and CAPEX.
